Amergin

"En Vivo en Buenos Aires"

Amergin Producciones, 2000, 34:14

Premiere discographic of this interesting grouping of Celtic music. And I eat intention of capturing all the heat of their presentations what better than attempting it with a live recording; in this opportunity, they were served as the show that they offered November 19 1999 in the room of the Teatro Luz y Fuerza, in Buenos Aires.

The musical proposal of Amergin locates them like a band that finds in the Irish tradition its best expression: cheerful, nostalgic and romantic music, with good interpreters.

The recording retains that whole aspect participative, of communication, so important in the presentations of the Celtic groups. The dialogues and the announcement of the topics are able to motivate the interpreters and the public, transmitting the listener a vicinity with the extremely pleasant musicians. To this it also contributes smartly the balanced election of songs, where traditional compositions ("Give me your hand", "The Tartán", "My wild irism rose") and the few ones own they conserve a balance and an admirable good pleasure.

"En Vivo en Buenos Aires" becomes this way an auspicious premiere for another of the excellent Celtic groupings of Argentina.
