Blue Universe calls herself the sound project of
the musician multiinstrumentist Sebastián Woscoboinik who stands
out to advance in the road traced by Guillermo Cides (in Argentina) with the
stick. And the special thing is that it is not limited to follow the line of
Guillermo, but rather he ventures in the combination, with very good pleasure
and tact by the way, of the stick (I orchestrate of ten or twelve strings that
it combines the range sound of bass and the guitar, developed by Emmet Chapman)
with keyboards, sound efects, programmings and loops, besides having Mariano
Enriquez's participation in guitars and Sumaia Daher in voice in some topics,
blended with own influences of Eno, Gabriel, Fripp and the particular personal
talent of the author's combination.
And the result is highly favorable, since it is a rich
sound experience, with very modern things in " Matrix ", "Mar de Silicio" or
"Martillando Mi Cerebro", beautiful melodies of great sensibility in "Mientras
Caigo Al Vacio", "Cielo Liquido" or "Solo Cenizas", play modern in "Camino a
Casa" or "El Resplandor - La Oscuridad", until the garishly experimental of
the brave version (and completely personal) of "Across the Universe" where
mixes the own search framed in The Beatles, until the cover (notices for note)
of the introduction of "Fifth of Fifth" of Genesis executed extremely well in
piano by Sebastián by way of coda of the disk.
In synthesis, it is a very personal work, with current
sounds, you influence of the most diverse, stupendously combined, and a novel
work in stick giving another nut turn in the theme of the instrument.
Highly advisable for restless hearings.
