ANIMA

"Anima"
(Viajero Inmovil, 2003)

Anima it published their only vinyl in 1989. The work happened absolutely inadvertent in its moment. The reissue in CD of Viajero Inmovil offers a new opportunity, perhaps in a moment of more diffusion of this music type. I don't believe that it is forced to classify to this band in the terrestrial neoprogressive. Symphonic progressive rock with abundant mattresses of keyboards, stylized alone of guitar, recurrent atmospheres floydians and ethereal arrangements corals dress the cordial melodies that are plentiful in the disk. There is a prevalence of the instrumental thing, but the parts sung with Alejandra Hameliuk's warm voice are not scare. If it is they name some influence, I choose the Pink Floyd search "Dark Side of The Moon". Anima should not surely reject this influence still revealed in the dialogues, sighs and sounds among the tracks. A detail that it can be smaller, it is that I don't share the approach of changing the original art of cover. On the other hand I should recognize that Viajero Inmovil's productions have an interesting aesthetic connection among if that makes them easily recognizable. This edition in cd has three bonus tracks recorded in 1987 that don't seem in the original vinyl.
