CAP is a Italian band born in the 70 that its career discographic began in the 90. They were born like a band that sought to repeat the success of their admired Italian classic bands, PFM, Banco and other, but in their moment they didn't have the enough luck to take out their career ahead. In the current formation so alone it is one of the musicians of that original adventure. The style that CAP practices doesn't have too many secrets, rock progressive Italian classic that it has gone acquiring some bad habits of other sonorities during the whole time in that they have gone being formed as band, but modern that has been for the road. "Il Bianco Regno di Dooah" it is the new disk of the group, a grandiloquent conceptual work with a lot of variety of registrations, but where it is noticed that they lack a lot to be some new PFM. Many symphonic passages, folkies and pastorals, many keyboards and guitar melodies and forcefulness, undoubtedly progressive music, but all very foregone one. A good band should have always something special, a personal touch, something of what I believe that CAP lacks. I don't doubt that they play well and they make an effort in creating works but progressive that nobody, but their music doesn't stop to sound correct, they leave the step but they don't arrive but there. It is a band to which are noticed limitaciones.
In their performance in Tiana gave me the same sensation, a good performance, overwhelming, of a band that gives everything and it makes an effort in to please that one notices that they live for the progressive one, but whose repertoire leaves that to want, with what you run out of tiring. And neither it amazes me their previous album, the but or less popular "Robin Delle Stelle". in short, little that to say of the disk, progressive Italian, with some overwhelming guitars, correct melodies, classic passages and folkies correct.
All correct one and anything but. And when they try to move away from their style, like in the case of the song "Grande Ombra Gentile" that for their name and their sonority this undoubtedly sought to make something similar to Gentle Giant, neither they are able to capture us. Summarizing, as a lot an acceptable disk that too much long.  is also made
The one that progressive classic Italian wants made at the present time that really proves with bands as Periferia del Mundo or La Maschera di Cera.
