To give stick concerts for dies years was a non
alone novelty for my but for a lot of people everywhere of the world where I will have
played. England, Spain, USA, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, etc. in these sides had never seen
a stick concert. I have taken an information to a I publish that had never had it this
way. I made a tour with Roger Hudgson, opening their shows. We play in Bolivia for 7000
bustling people and there was a very special attention when I played my four themes that
they were the opening of the show. People were surprised that is to say about what
happened,: How ago that alone type in a scenario before 7000 types, playing a music that
we don't know that it is, with an instrument that we don't know that it is and a person
that we don't know who is? The chemistry of all that I neither know it.
I am not very concerned for the instrument in if same because will
stop soon to be a fashion or a novelty. I am but worried to demonstrate that the stick is
an excuse to make music.
I met the stick of chance and I finished playing it for work of the
destination. I never studied music on the stick, nobody taught me to play it because there
were not professors, so I had to learn for myself.
To the 10 months of having the stick gave a show for friends, to the
4 years of having it published my first disk, to the 6 years it was founding a stickists
center and publishing my second disk, arming an it assembles of stickists and making tours
with that it assembles, to the 7 years it was traveling for other countries and now I
return with a disk engraving in Holland in homage to Bach.
I have become an artist that diffuses a possibility but that of an
instrument.
